Terms of Service
Last updated: January 2026
1. General provisions
These Terms of Service govern the use of the Qubit service (“Service”) offered at qubit.qcomply.tech. By using the Service, you accept these terms.
2. Description of the service
Qubit is a post-quantum messenger using symmetric cryptography only. It allows the exchange of encrypted text messages between users who have previously exchanged a key in person (offline). The Service does not store message content in plain form.
3. Registration and account
Registration is required to use the Service. The user provides a password; the login nickname is generated automatically and cannot be changed. The user undertakes to keep the password and nickname confidential. Password recovery is not provided.
4. End User License Agreement (EULA) and rules of use
By using the Service you enter into this End User License Agreement (EULA) and agree to use the Service in accordance with the law and these rules.
5. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users
There is zero tolerance for objectionable content and for abusive users. You may not post, send, or transmit content that is offensive, harassing, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, violent, illegal, or otherwise objectionable. Users who violate these rules may be immediately removed from the Service (banned) without notice, and their content deleted.
6. Reporting and blocking
Every conversation provides tools to (a) report a message or user that violates these rules and (b) block an abusive user. You may also delete your own messages at any time. We review reports and act on them—removing the offending content and ejecting the offending user—within 24 hours of receipt.
7. Limitations
The Service allows only text messages (ASCII) to be sent. It does not offer group chats, attachments or reactions. The demo version may store keys in the server database; the production version will store keys only on the user’s device.
8. Changes and termination
The Service operator reserves the right to change these terms, with reasonable notice. The user may stop using the Service at any time. The operator may suspend or discontinue the Service for good cause, including violation of the rules above.
9. Contact
To report inappropriate activity or contact us about the Service, email: [email protected].
