Private messaging with keys
you exchange in person

Every message is encrypted on your phone with a key you and your contact share face to face. The server only ever holds what it cannot read.

• Keys are exchanged in person by QR code. Nothing crosses the network that could be intercepted now or decrypted later.
• Messages, voice notes, photos and videos are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before they leave your phone.
• No phone number, email or address book needed. Your account is a generated nickname.
• Groups of up to 20 people. Conversation and group names are encrypted too.
• Messages are deleted from the server 90 days after they are delivered.
• Notifications without content, and keys that move to a new phone by QR code, never via the server.
